The chart-topping songs of Creedence Clearwater Revival will ring through the rafters of historic John M. Hall Auditorium stage on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 8 p.m. as the band Revisiting Creedence performs on the annual Crouse Visiting Artists Series.

“We are very excited to welcome a band with such a storied history to Hall Auditorium. Creedence Clearwater has so many top 10 singles, everyone is familiar with their music,” Bay View Artistic Director Chris Ludwa said.

Dan McGuinness and Kurt Griffey toured the world performing with original Creedence Clearwater Revival members and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers in Creedence Clearwater Revisited for ten years. Now they’ve passed the torch continuing to celebrate CCR’s musical legacy, live in concert as Revisiting Creedence.

Dan and Kurt performed as the lead singer and lead guitar player respectively for a decade on stage with rock royalty–Creedence Clearwater Revival’s legendary rhythm section and founding members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford in Revisiting Creedence.

Since Dan and Kurt first took the stage together in Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 2011, they performed with CCR’s Cosmo and Stu in nearly 1,000 concerts around the globe. Across the United States, Canada, South America, Mexico, and New Zealand–they rocked the iconic catalog of Creedence Clearwater Revival—one of America’s and the world’s all-time most popular bands.

Founding members and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford added lead guitarist Kurt Griffey, lead vocal and rhythm guitarist Dan McGuinness and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner to round out the sound. The mix creates a balance grounded in experience and fresh energy for an unforgettable audience experience.

Ron Wikso anchors Revisiting Creedence on drums. Ron’s pedigree includes being hand-picked by Cosmo to substitute for him on drums in Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Ron performed nearly two years of concerts in Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Joining Revisiting Creedence on bass guitar is Mat Scarpelli. Mat is a renowned multi-instrumentalist and high harmony vocalist and has toured with the band for three years across America and Mexico City.
