Your gifts to the Bay View Fund provide essential support for a place where multi-generational families and friends can rest, reconnect, and renew in community. The Bay View Fund supports everything at Bay View, from the programs to buildings and grounds improvements. Your gifts make a direct and immediate impact at Bay View and is critical to the day-to-day operations of the organization. Generous gifts from you, your friends, and neighbors ensure the Bay View Summer Experience for all generations. You can make an online gift, call (231)347-6225, print out giving form and mail it to PO Box 583, Petoskey, MI 49770, or give a gift of stock.

Recurring giving is for dedicated and budget-minded donors who want to make a regular, year-round impact to Bay View. Simply click here, choose an appropriate gift amount for your budget, and check the “recurring gift” option. By choosing this option, you authorize the storing of your card account for a payment on your predetermined schedule.

Sponsorships offer a direct way to support the summer programs you’re passionate about and enrich the lives of your friends, family, and guests.  A condensed list of sponsorship opportunities is included below. 

  • Stream Weekly Worship Service: $250
  • Monday Night Movies: $2,000
  • Vesper Concert: $2,500 
  • Student Festival Fellowships – Adopt a music student and build a lasting relationship through a Festival Fellowship Scholarship
    • $2,000-$4,000 depending on instrument
  • Education or Worship Lecture Opportunities starting at $5,000
  • Pops Concert Underwriting $7,500-$10,000

Build your legacy by giving a priceless gift that costs nothing today, but creates a lasting impact for generations at Bay View. Gifts to Bay View’s endowments ensure Bay View thrives not for only one generation but in perpetuity. It’s easy to leave a gift to Bay View in your will. Simply share this language with your attorney or financial planner:

Sample Unrestricted Bequest language: 

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of Bay View Association _____ dollars ($_____), or _____ percent (_____ %) of my (residuary) estate, to be used for the benefit of Bay View Association as the Trustees thereof may direct. 

Sample Restricted bequest language: 

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of Bay View Association _____ dollars ($_____), or _____ percent (_____ %) of my (residuary) estate, to be used for the benefit of (Education, Performing Arts, Recreation, Worship) at Bay View Association. If at some time in the future this purpose no longer exists, the Trustees may use the funds for any purpose which, in their opinion, most nearly approximates the Donor’s stated purpose. 

When drafting bequest language to benefit Bay View Association, the legal beneficiary should be referred to as Trustees of Bay View Association.

Matching gifts make it possible to double or even triple your philanthropy to Bay View Association. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match most charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees or spouses.
