Is joy our true home? Is joy different from happiness? Is sorrow related to joy? Poets ask these deeply important questions. If you’re not a poetry reader, this course will likely make you one, and if you enjoy poetry already, so much the better. Using Christian Wiman’s poetry anthology, Joy, this course will consider how poetry can help answer our questions and bring joy to our lives. **NOTE: There will be an additional $20 fee for students to purchase the poetry anthology, Joy, by Christian Wiman.
