Baptism

Bay View offers the sacrament of Baptism to people of all ages. Baptism is the ancient way of welcoming new members into the Christian faith, affirming the unique goodness of the individual being baptized. When young children are baptized, it is an act of commitment (on the part of parents, Godparents/sponsors, and those gathered) to raise the child in a Christian environment and to nurture a living faith. Those interested in baptism, please contact the Wade Administration Office: 231-347-6225 or info@bayviewassociation.org.

Cottage Blessings

Blessing one’s dwelling place is an ancient practice among Christians. Here at Bay View, a cottage blessing can be performed at any time and for any reason. Existing or newly acquired cottages can be blessed. Every dwelling space for God’s people deserves a blessing, no matter the size, location or socio-economic status. If you would like to schedule a Cottage Blessing, contact the Director of Worship and Religious Life, the Rev. Dr. Hilary Barrett: 215-605-1988 or worship@bayviewassociation.org.
