Change up your meal plans with this unique class in amazing Portuguese cuisine. Dishes include the very popular Caldo Verde (green broth) with kale or mustard greens/potato, Feijoada (bean and meat casserole), and Cataplana (shellfish and pork stew).
Instructor: Todd Tonova. Todd Tonova, Ph.D., is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and has been a professor for almost 30 years at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Currently Bay View’s chef at Crist Hall, Tonova has also worked as a chef at camps in Maine and Wisconsin Dells, and has served as a personal chef to two Baltimore Orioles players.
