Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Concert – Beethoven’s Eroica
Beethoven’s Eroica
A Night at Lobkowicz Palace
Experience “The Day That Changed Music Forever”
Step into Vienna, 1804, where Beethoven’s groundbreaking Symphony No.3 (Eroica) was first unveiled at the Lobkowicz Palace. It was like nothing heard before and is now considered a landmark in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras.
Mozart’s (only) Concerto for Two Pianos features Bay View’s piano soloists Tony Patterson and Casey Robards.
Also performed will be the orchestral premier of The Match by Tony Patterson (Don’t miss Bay View’s own Paul Tomey as guest conductor), and First Movement of Symphony in E-flat Major by Anton Eberl.
Tickets from $35 to $65 include an optional pre-concert talk at 6 PM by music director Libor Ondras, as well as a post-concert cookie reception, both at Evelyn Hall.
