Class: Italian Classics
Learn basic, classic preparations for a meal of caesar salad, minestrone soup and chicken parmesan. Participants will learn the proper use of knives and kitchen equipment, and there will be full tastings. PLEASE NOTE: This class takes place in Crist Hall.
Todd Tonova, Ph.D., is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and has been a professor for almost 30 years at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Currently Bay View’s chef at Crist Hall, Tonova has also worked as a chef at camps in Maine and Wisconsin Dells, and has served as a personal chef to two Baltimore Orioles players.
