Make your own traditional Blackforest Torte with chef Marit Koszubowski of European Pastries of Petoskey. Chef Marit will prepare individual cake layers in advance of the class. Class time will be devoted to making the filling, assembling the cake, and decorating it, for showstopping results. Each registered participant will take home a personal-sized torte of his or her own.

Instructor:  Chef Marit Kaszubowski. Marit grew up in the world of cuisine, in a family of chefs in Germany. Marit has worked as a culinary professional for more than 20 years in the US, from complex, high-quantity production hotel facilities, to the kitchens of fine dining establishments. Her business, European Pastries of Petoskey, regularly supplies Bay View’s Gathering Post with tasty delights.
