This class will read and discuss Hemingway’s “Hills Like White Elephants”; Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams”; Shaw’s “The Girls in Their Summer Dresses”; Moore’s “How to Be an Other Woman”; and Bloom’s “Love is Not a Pie”, in a reader-centered, participatory class.

Instructor:  Don Daiker.  Don is Professor Emeritus of English at Miami University and a member of the Editorial Board of “The Hemingway Review.”  His book “Hemingway’s Earliest Heroes:  Nick Adams and Jake Barnes” was published to wide acclaim in Spring 2024.
