A one-of-a kind dance program that mentors high school juniors & seniors interested in pursuing college and university dance studies, the Bay View Solo Dance Intensive offers professional training and coaching in preparing an original solo for college auditions. Over six days, an elite group of 10 students takes a daily class in classic modern dance and prepares their own solos under the guidance of three expert faculty. Students perform their solos on the final day for family and members of the Bay View summer community, are provided a survey of college/university dance programs and take home a professionally produced video of their solo.
