Bay View Wind Quintet Seminar
Overview
June 12 – July 12, 2026
We strive to provide the most unique collegiate chamber music experience in the country, featuring a focus on wind quintet repertoire, 2:1 student-faculty ratio, and opportunities to develop musical leadership skills.
Located in one of North America’s most spectacular settings, the Bay View Wind Seminar provides unparalleled opportunities to learn, perform, and collaborate while soaking in the sandy beaches and historical beauty of Northern Michigan. This unique wind quintet training experience pairs abundant chamber music performances with intensive individual study. Students receive coachings and mentorship from each member of the Bay View Wind Quintet.
Bay View Music Festival, the oldest music festival in the United States, is part of a Chautauqua community and features a variety of professional and student performances throughout the summer.
