The Bay View Wind Institute is a 4-week intensive chamber music experience. Students have the opportunity to attend one of two sessions, or stay for the full 8 weeks. Scholarships are available for both options. This unique opportunity for in-depth exploration of wind quintet repertoire includes weekly performances, private lessons with Bay View Wind Quintet faculty, outreach recitals, and group master classes focused on the finer points of wind quintet playing. Auxiliary activities include chamber orchestra, pit orchestra, a concerto competition, mock audition, and courses in professional artist development, including Thriving in the Arts and Income From Outreach.

Located in a remarkably beautiful campus on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Bay View Wind Institute provides an ideal place for practice, reflection, and artistic growth.
